The Schoeps RAD-1 CCM/CMC Edition with cable is a professional spring suspension designed for Schoeps CCM and Colette (CMC) series small-diaphragm microphones. This anti-vibration system provides excellent isolation from microphone stand movement and structure noise, ensuring cleaner recordings in broadcast, film and live sound applications.

Anti-vibration suspension for Schoeps microphones

The RAD-1 suspension is designed specifically for compact microphone and windproof configurations. It is particularly suitable for microphones with standard sponge windbreakers, ensuring an optimal balance between stability and isolation.

Due to its lightweight yet sturdy construction, the system effectively reduces noise caused by boom pole movement or stand-borne vibration.

The CCM/CMC Edition is compatible with several Schoeps professional microphones, including:

Interchangeable insulator system

The suspension includes two different types of isolators that allow the behavior of the suspension to be adapted to the weight of the microphone and the configuration used:

• Stiffer isolators (black) for greater stability
• Softer isolators (dark gray) for greater vibration absorption
