Eventide's Temperance Lite ushers in a new era for reverb, offering a musical and modular approach to sonic spatiality. It is not a simple algorithmic or convolutional reverb: thanks to its "Modal Reverb" technology, it allows you to control resonances using the 12-tone chromatic scale, allowing some notes to emerge and others to fade away, to create unprecedented and deeply musical sound environments.

Modal Reverb technology: every frequency under control

Imagine a room full of tuning forks, each tuned to a different frequency. Temperance Lite simulates thousands of independent resonances, shaping the reverberant space in real time. While convolutional reverbs capture a room in a single shot, Temperance builds it one element at a time, offering extreme control over decay and frequency response.

The heart of the sound: the Temper knob

The distinguishing feature is the Temper knob: in the middle position, Temperance Lite behaves like a classic reverb. By turning it clockwise, it emphasizes selected notes; counterclockwise, it attenuates them. An elegant solution for sculpting spatiality according to musical tonality.

Visualization, presets and instant workflow

Temperance Lite includes 15 presets, including five tutorials to get you started right away. NoteScape visualizer shows the decay of selected notes in real time. Intuitive controls such as Mix, Decay, Pre-delay and Size make workflow familiar, while band filters and reference frequency adjustments ensure absolute precision.
