Intended for producers, sound designers, and electronic musicians, CrushStation goes far beyond the classic software distortion with a powerful combination of built-in effects and advanced controls.

Eventide stereo distortion for mix and sound design

CrushStation allows you to transform the character of your sound from mild analog harmonics to aggressive distortion and destructive fuzz. The DRIVE control adjusts the overdrive level, while GRIT and SUSTAIN push the signal into dirtier, compressed territories ideal for aggressive drums, synths, basses, and leads.

Parallel compression and creative textures

With the MIX control, you can blend the dry signal with the processed signal to create parallel compression, more controlled saturations, and dynamic distortion. Octave Mix integration also allows you to add upper and lower harmonics for massive textures and rich presence.

SAG control and degraded analog behavior

One of the distinctive elements of Eventide CrushStation is the SAG parameter, which was developed to simulate the behavior of failing analog equipment. The result is a dirty, unstable and "broken" sound, perfect for experimental, industrial and modern electronic productions.

Integrated 3-band EQ and Gate

The built-in 3-band EQ allows you to sculpt timbre with precision, emphasizing aggressive lows or sharper high frequencies. The built-in Gate can be used to control extreme distortion or to create particularly rhythmic parallel gated and crunch effects.

Mac and Windows compatible Eventide plug-in

CrushStation includes 35 professional presets and advanced performance tools such as Ribbon Controller and Hotswitch, which allow you to edit sound in real time during mixes, automations or live sets. The plug-in is compatible with macOS Intel and Apple Silicon, Windows 10+ and major professional formats VST2, VST3, AU and AAX.
