Horizontal 500 Series 2-Slot Power Chassis
The Quagliardi Pro Audio PowerGrid Duo is a horizontal power supply chassis designed to accommodate up to two standard 500 Series modules. Thanks to its compact design, it can be easily integrated into a standard 1U rack space, offering a practical solution for using Series 500 processors alongside other rackmount equipment in the studio. The two recessed slots ensure compatibility with standard 500 Series modules, while the power supply system delivers up to 300 mA of current per voltage rail. The PowerGrid Duo thus provides stable power to both installed modules.
The rear panel of the Quagliardi Pro Audio PowerGrid Duo features a Stereo Link switch, designed to offer greater routing flexibility when using compatible modules. Each slot also features an independent Ground Lift switch, useful for eliminating any 60 Hz hum issues. This configuration allows for separate control of the two slots and facilitates the integration of the chassis into more complex professional audio setups.
The horizontal rackmount format makes the PowerGrid Duo an ideal solution for those who want to integrate two 500 Series modules into their rack system without resorting to larger chassis.
