Waves TRACT SPL Meter is the SPL measurement plug-in designed for live mixers who want to keep sound pressure levels in plain sight at all times. It works directly within the eMotion LV1 mixer and the SuperRack host plugin, so essential level information remains visible in the same environment where you’re mixing, without having to use a separate application for day-to-day monitoring.

A large display shows the current SPL level at a glance, even from the typical distance of a FOH console. The peak hold function tracks the highest peak reached, so you always know how hard the system has been pushed during the concert.
Choose between A-weighting and C-weighting based on your monitoring needs: the former matches the ear’s perception at mid-range levels, while the latter takes low-frequency content into account more comprehensively—which is crucial in live settings with high-pressure subwoofers.
Set your SPL threshold and receive a clear alert whenever the level exceeds it. A practical tool for working within the noise emission limits set by the venue or organizer, without having to constantly monitor the numerical value.
For post-show documentation and analysis, the TRACT SPL Meter continuously records sound pressure level measurements and exports them to a CSV file. This provides you with a simple, verifiable history of levels throughout the event—useful for reports to be submitted to organizers and venue managers, as well as for reviewing the mix’s performance with a clear head.
