Sequential Pro 3 SE: hybrid analog and wavetable synthesis

The Pro 3 SE's sound engine combines the warm, full-bodied character of two voltage-controlled analog oscillators with the aggressive versatility of a digital wavetable oscillator. With 32 wavetables composed of 16 waveforms each and continuous morphing, the synthesizer can range from vintage timbres to modern, experimental textures.

The digital oscillator also includes classic waveforms, supersaw and possibilities for use as an audio-rate LFO for extreme modulations.

Three vintage filters for a powerful and versatile Sequential sound

One of the highlights of the Sequential Pro 3 SE is the presence of three distinct analog filters that can be selected according to the desired character:

Prophet-6 4-pole filter

The first filter offers classic 24 dB/oct low-pass behavior derived from the Prophet-6, ideal for deep bass and full-bodied leads.

Transistor Ladder Filter

The second filter echoes the famous ladder transistor design with optional resonance compensation to keep low-frequency presence intact.

State Variable filter in the style of OB-6

The third filter, inspired by the OB-6, allows seamless transitions between low-pass, notch and high-pass, with optional band-pass mode for more complex sound designs.

The Pro 3 SE's built-in sequencer is one of the most powerful performance tools in its class. It features 16 tracks, 16 steps and 4 concatenatable phrases, with ratcheting, multiple playback, realtime or step-by-step recording and full parameter automation functions.
