The DPA SCM0004-B/W Miniature Clip is a clip designed for quick and secure mounting of DPA miniature lavalier microphones. With its compact and unobtrusive design, it allows the microphone to be attached directly to clothing, providing stability and an optimal position for audio recording in broadcast, theater, television, and video production settings.
This clip was developed to provide a simple and reliable mounting system for DPA lavalier microphones. The mount allows stable placement on the chest or clothing, keeping the microphone stationary even during movement or live performance.
The clip is available in two color variations, black and white, to best suit different types of clothing or sets, being as unobtrusive as possible during video shoots or performances.
The SCM0004 replaces the previous DMM0004 holder, which was not compatible with omnidirectional microphones equipped with a reinforced cable. This new clip is designed to provide better compatibility with DPA's range of miniature microphones.
The holder is compatible with microphones equipped with reinforced cable and maintains backward compatibility with microphones with unreinforced cable thanks to the included cable guide, which allows for proper positioning of the microphone within the clip.
