Designed to cover virtually every recording need, the DRK4001 includes microphones for instruments, vocals, stereo takes, and ambient recordings. The system is organized into three levels with specific microphones and accessories, allowing it to cope with single instrument recordings, ensemble, orchestra or vocal productions.

Due to the modularity of the DPA pencil microphones, the capsules can be used with different A-, C- and E-series preamplifiers, offering great flexibility in recording configurations.
