Trinnov 3D Measurement MicrophoneXLR is a professional measurement microphone designed to ensure the highest accuracy in Trinnov acoustic calibration systems. With its unique architecture and seamless integration with D-MON and NOVA processors, it is a key tool for achieving reliable and consistent monitoring.
The microphone uses four capsules arranged in a tetrahedral configuration, enabling not only extremely accurate measurements of frequency response, but also precise determination of speaker position in three-dimensional space.
Each unit is individually calibrated at the factory with a tolerance of ±0.1 dB. The included calibration file is loaded into the Trinnov system to ensure consistent and reliable measurements every time.
By analyzing the arrival times of sound waves on the four capsules, the system is able to precisely triangulate the location of the speakers. This enables the creation of an accurate three-dimensional map of the listening environment.
The information gathered is used by Trinnov Remapping technology to correct spatial perception, creating accurate sound images even in less than perfect environments. The result is a stable, coherent and highly realistic sound scene.
