NoiseWorks VoiceAssist is an advanced artificial intelligence-based plug-in designed to simplify and speed up editing work on voices and dialog. With intelligent tools for audio cleaning, dynamics control, and vocal imperfection management, it allows you to get clean, consistent, and mix-ready vocal tracks in just a few steps.
VoiceAssist integrates many functions normally spread over multiple plug-ins: noise reduction, reverb removal, frequency recovery, breath and sibilance control, automatic leveling, and more. Everything is fully adjustable, always maintaining full creative control over the final result.
The Clean section uses an artificial intelligence model that works directly on the user's computer. There is no need to upload files to the cloud: processing takes place locally, ensuring speed, privacy and reliability.
VoiceAssist makes it easy to eliminate background noise such as traffic, fans or other environmental disturbances, as well as reducing unwanted reverberations. The Recover Highs feature also helps recover clarity and definition in voice recordings made with sub-optimally placed microphones.
The Dynamics section automatically analyzes vocal performance and creates customized volume automation. This allows for perfectly intelligible and balanced vocal tracks without complex manual intervention.
You can choose between different modes depending on the desired result: a subtle, natural adjustment or a more aggressive leveling, ideal for vocal raps or modern productions, for example. The plug-in also supports working in LUFS-I and LUFS-S with integrated peak control.
VoiceAssist can recover energy in low frequencies to give more presence and depth to the voice. The resonance reduction function automatically detects narrow peaks in the low frequencies, while the pitch-based low-cut automatically follows the lowest note in the recording for more natural filtering.
Overly obvious breaths or aggressive sibilance can make a recording sound unprofessional. VoiceAssist automatically detects these sections and allows them to be reduced with adjustable intensity or by spectral processing that acts only on the most annoying components. Each detected region can be manually modified to achieve the perfect result.
The content-aware voice gate analyzes the recording by automatically distinguishing between voice and silence. This approach avoids unnatural cuts and artifacts typical of traditional fixed threshold-based gates, ensuring more natural results even with recordings from different environments or with different microphone placements.
For those who want more traditional control, an adjustable threshold mode is still available.
