The Schoeps Mono Set CMC 6 + MK 22 is a professional microphone system consisting of the CMC 6 preamplifier and MK 22 capsule. This combination offers extremely natural sound pickup with an ideal balance between direct and ambient sound, making it particularly suitable for high-quality music recordings, broadcast productions, and professional studio or location applications.
The CMC 6 preamplifier is part of the Schoeps Colette modular system and is compatible with all capsules in the series. Combined with the MK 22 capsule, it creates an extremely versatile microphone characterized by natural and controlled spatial pickup.
The MK 22 capsule is defined by Schoeps as an open cardioid solution. This pattern lies between an omni and a traditional cardioid capsule, offering a more natural low-frequency response and a more realistic environmental rendition.
Because of its very balanced sound response, the MK 22 capsule is particularly suitable for recordings of acoustic instruments, chamber ensembles, piano, orchestra and ambient recordings.
The set includes MK 22 capsule, CMC 6 preamplifier, SG 20 rod adapter, B 5 D windscreen and a premium case. This makes the set a complete ready-to-use solution for recording studios, sound engineers and professional audio productions.
