LYRA-4 is the compact version of the organismic synthesizer LYRA-8, famous for its unpredictable and musical character. LYRA-4 retains the living soul of the original design, but in a lighter, more portable format: perfect for taking the Soma sound anywhere, even in your backpack.

4 "living" voices

At the heart of the LYRA-4 are its four "voices," organized in two pairs (12 and 34), which behave non-linearly and unpredictably. They are not classic VCOs: they are reminiscent of vintage electric organ tone generators, enhanced by a modern approach to FM synthesis. Voices can modulate with each other, creating ever-changing sound textures.

Deep modulations and creative delay

The HYPER LFO generates complex modulations by combining and multiplying two LFOs. MOD DELAY offers feedback and the unique ability to modulate your own sample rate with the output signal, resulting in organic and surprising effects. This culminates in the DISTORTION section for even rougher and more visceral results.
