Professional delay and echo pedal with a 5-minute stereo looper
The Strymon TimeLine MX represents the ultimate evolution of the American company’s renowned delay. Designed for guitarists, keyboardists, and professional musicians, it offers studio-quality sound, an intuitive interface, and uncompromising flexibility. Each algorithm has been developed to respond naturally to the dynamics of your performance, allowing you to range from classic vintage echoes to the most modern ambient soundscapes.
At the heart of the TimeLine MX are twelve state-of-the-art processing engines. In addition to the classic algorithms that made the original TimeLine famous, this new version introduces the exclusive Oil Can, Spectral, Drum, and MultiTap effects, as well as a new reverb engine, allowing you to create extremely rich presets without the need for a second pedal.
Thanks to the Dual Engine architecture, you can use two independent delays in the same preset. The two effects can be configured in Series, Parallel, or Split modes, with adjustable stereo panning for each engine, opening up virtually unlimited sonic possibilities.
The built-in stereo looper lets you record up to 5 minutes of high-quality audio. It can be placed before or after the delay effects and features a 1-Button Looper mode, ideal for quickly recording during a live performance without having to switch operating modes. Advanced functions such as Reverse, Redo, and Half Speed are also available via MIDI.
The TimeLine MX is designed to integrate seamlessly into any professional pedalboard. It supports MIDI control via USB-C, TRS, and DIN connections, allowing for preset recall, real-time parameter control, and full automation during live shows or studio productions.
The pedal also supports expression pedals, MultiSwitch, and MultiSwitch Plus, offering extremely advanced control over live performances.
All inputs and outputs use configurable stereo TRS connections. You can create traditional stereo setups or Wet/Dry, Wet/Dry/Wet configurations, as well as mono or stereo effects loops, making the pedal perfect for both compact pedalboards and professional racks.
The Dry path remains completely analog, ensuring zero latency on the original signal. Digital processing utilizes 24-bit/96 kHz converters, 32-bit internal floating-point processing, and a powerful 800 MHz tri-core ARM processor, ensuring an extremely detailed and transparent response even in the most complex presets.
TimeLine MX will be compatible with Nixie 2 software, which will allow you to create, edit, and organize presets directly from your computer, perform full backups, and manage multiple compatible Strymon pedals simultaneously from a single platform.
