The Audeze Maxwell 2 ANC for PlayStation combines Audeze’s planar magnetic technology with a hybrid adaptive active noise cancellation system, offering a solution designed for competitive gaming, immersive single-player experiences, and high-quality listening. Based on the Maxwell design, this version incorporates an ANC system engineered to reduce ambient noise while preserving the integrity of sound reproduction. Transparency mode also lets you hear what’s happening in your surroundings when needed, while sidetone allows you to monitor your own voice during communications.
At the heart of the Audeze Maxwell 2 ANC are 90 mm planar magnetic drivers, paired with Fluxor™ magnets and Fazor™ waveguides. The system is designed to accurately reproduce both the subtlest details and the most impactful effects found in gaming sessions. The proprietary SLAM™ technology, originally introduced by Audeze on the CRBN2 electrostatic headphones, helps improve spatial accuracy and low-frequency response. The specified frequency response of 10 Hz to 50 kHz covers an exceptionally wide range, a feature useful for both gaming and music listening.
The Maxwell 2 ANC’s hybrid adaptive noise-cancellation system is optimized to reduce external noise interference during gameplay. This allows you to focus more on the details of the soundscape, from ambient effects to cues that help pinpoint the location of opponents and other in-game events.

The removable hypercardioid boom microphone uses the Audeze FILTER™ AI system for noise reduction.
