Eventide Tverb is an innovative reverb plug-in developed in collaboration with legendary producer Tony Visconti, famous for his work with David Bowie. Based on the historic three-microphone technique used during the recording of "Heroes," Tverb recreates a highly configurable virtual environment inspired by Hansa Tonstudios' legendary Meistersaal in Berlin.
Tverb allows you to control three virtual microphones within a precisely modeled algorithmic room. One main microphone captures the direct signal with natural ambience, while two additional moving microphones handle depth, reflections, and spatiality of the reverb.
Unlike traditional convolutional reverbs, Tverb allows virtual microphones to be moved around the room in real time, changing depth, reflections and room response in an extremely natural and musical way.
Thanks to the fully algorithmic nature of reverb, microphones can even move dynamically in space during playback, creating evolving sound environments and spatializations impossible to achieve in the real world.
The main channel includes an analog-style modeled compression section, inspired by the original configuration used by Tony Visconti during historic sessions with David Bowie.
The two room channels incorporate fully configurable post-reverb gates, with control over closure, release rate and opening duration. This allows for dynamic, controlled reverbs perfect for vocals, drums, synths and cinematic sound design.
Tverb includes advanced controls for decay, diffusion, ambient EQ, phase inversion, full automation and wet/dry handling with Mix Lock. Low CPU consumption allows multiple instances to be used simultaneously even in complex productions.
Perfect for vocals, drums, synths, guitars and soundtracks, Eventide Tverb is a one-stop solution for producers, mix engineers and sound designers looking for creative, dynamic and deeply musical reverbs.
