RedNet A16R MkII is a 16-channel AD/DA converter designed for professional environments with Dante infrastructure. It offers precision conversion up to 192kHz, 24-bit, with 119 dB of dynamic range on input and 120 dB on output. Two additional AES3 channels and extensive connection options make it ideal for recording, broadcast and post-production studios.
Equipped with dual IEC power supplies and dual etherCON inputs for primary and secondary networks, RedNet A16R MkII ensures continuous operation even in the event of failures. Automatic fail-over makes it perfect for sensitive installations where signal stability is crucial.
Each channel has independent level adjustment, which can be managed using RedNet Control software. Front LED indicators display power, network, signal, sampling and clock status in real time. You can also use the XLR input as a DARS source.
DB25 (AES59) connections provide 16 balanced analog I/O channels, while XLR and BNC provide AES3, DARS and Word Clock. Frequency conversion on AES3 inputs allows integration with external devices operating at different sample rates without compromise.
With full support for Dante, AES67, AES70 and SMPTE ST 2110 compatibility (via Dante Domain Manager), A16R MkII integrates easily into any professional audio-over-IP network. The 1U format allows for neat and space-saving installations, also perfect for mobile racks.
