Instruō cnōc: more than an envelope, a true "West Coast" function generator

Instruō cnōc is a fully analog two-stage, voltage controllable function generator. This approach, born of the "West Coast" mindset, goes beyond the classic envelope generator: cnōc can become an envelope, LFO, delay gate generator or slew limiter, finding a place in any patch thanks to flexible modes and unipolar/bipolar outputs.

AR, ASR and Looping: envelopes, loops and musical modulations

With AR and ASR modes you can get fast or softer envelopes for amp, filter, and modulations, while Looping turns cnōc into a controllable analog LFO, perfect for vibration, tremolo, and slow movement. External control over Attack and Release makes it easy to animate tempos with CV, creating transitions and dynamics that are always alive.

Unipolar and bipolar, assignable gate and manual trigger

Unipolar positive and bipolar outputs make it easy to interface with different destinations (from VCA/filter to more complex modulations). The assignable gate output adds versatility for synchronizations and patch logic, while the manual trigger button is ideal for immediate testing, performance, and intervention.

Slew limiter and response curves

cnōc can also function as a slew limiter to add portamento to pitch sequences or to "smooth out" CV variations. The two response curve settings allow the user to choose the most suitable response between more linear or more expressive behaviors, depending on the patch and the desired result.
