RME M-1620 Pro D: the bridge between analog and network

The M-1620 Pro D is a next-generation converter that connects professional analog signals to Dante, MADI and ADAT networks. With a compact 1U design and intuitive front interface, it offers 16 analog inputs and 20 D/A outputs, perfect for modern studios, immersive productions, and high-reliability live applications.

Dante and MADI connectivity with built-in redundancy.

Equipped with two Ethernet ports for Dante (64 channels), the M-1620 can also function as a Dante switch for cascaded chains. Supports coaxial and optional optical (SFP) MADI connections, as well as Word Clock I/O, ensuring full compatibility with existing systems. Perfect for extending analog I/O on MADI devices.

Direct control, even remotely

The front panel combines displays, LED meters and comprehensive controls. You can manage every function via network, USB or web browser, including phantom power, gain groups and clock configurations. Also available is a JSON API and MIDI SysEx commands for advanced integrations.

Flexible monitoring and powerful routing

Two independent headphone outputs allow monitoring of any signal, analog or digital. Internal matrix allows single-channel routing between all I/O, simplifying setup and real-time troubleshooting.
