The Elektron Analog Rytm MKII (Black) is an 8-voice analog drum machine with built-in sampler, designed to deliver authentic analog punch and digital flexibility in the studio and live. It combines dedicated analog percussion generators with a powerful sample playback engine, allowing you to layer analog sounds and samples creatively and professionally.
Perfect for electronic production, techno, house, industrial and advanced rhythmic sound design, it is a complete solution for creating complex and dynamic beats.
Each voice has a dedicated analog sound generator, 2-pole analog multimode filter, overdrive circuit and dedicated filter and amp envelopes. Added to this is a digital sample layer, which can be recorded directly from the inputs, internal tracks or main outputs.
Pitch, direction, looping, one-shot and bitrate can be edited, as well as resampling to create unique, layered textures.
After processing on a per-track basis, the signal can be further shaped through stereo analog distortion and master analog compressor, resulting in powerful, cohesive, mix-ready drum buses.
Digital delay and reverb effects complete the sound chain, providing depth and spaciousness.
The 12-track drum + FX track sequencer offers up to 64 steps per pattern, independent length and scale per track, micro-timing, swing, retrig and chromatic mode.
The famous Parameter Locks allow any parameter to be automated on a per-step basis, while Trig Conditions introduce controlled variations and generative logic. Euclidean Sequencer mode adds an alternative and creative approach to rhythm programming.
The 12 backlit velocity- and pressure-sensitive pads allow you to play parts in real time or activate up to 12 macro performances. Scene mode allows drastic configuration changes with a simple touch.
The high-definition OLED display ensures optimal visibility even in dark environments, while the quick performance knob provides instant access to assigned macros.
The 8 individual outputs per track allow separate routing in the studio. There are balanced audio inputs, MIDI In/Out/Thru with DIN Sync, CV/Expression inputs, and USB 2.0 Hi-Speed with Overbridge.
With class compliant mode, the Analog Rytm MKII can also function as a USB audio interface, integrating seamlessly with modern DAWs.
