The Flock Audio CX is a line-level adjuster, signal booster, and preamp module designed to integrate seamlessly with all PATCH Series systems. It allows you to connect microphone signals, instrument signals, and any other analog source to the PATCH Series’ analog routing, bringing them up to +4 dBu with maximum sonic transparency and without altering the signal path.

With clean gain of up to 60 dB, the CX allows you to amplify any analog source while preserving the original signal quality. The entire audio path is fully analog, with no AD/DA conversions and no introduced latency—a critical feature in professional recording environments and hybrid analog/digital setups.

Maximum flexibility for studio and live use

The Flock Audio CX can be used not only with PATCH Series systems but also as a standalone preamp or signal booster via the CX Standalone app. This mode makes it ideal for recording studios, broadcast installations, audio post-production, and live applications.

Dedicated standalone configuration

Through the CX Standalone app, you can use the hardware as a standalone preamp, significantly expanding its operational capabilities even outside the Flock Audio PATCH ecosystem.
