19"-Rackmount with passive 4-way stereo output

The Expansion Rack allows for mounting the Phonitor 2 and the SMC 7.1 in a 19"-Rack. Additionally the built-in 1x4 Switch expands offer connectivity for up to four stereo speaker sets.

SMC 7.1

The Expansion Rack also expands the Surround Monitor Controller SMC 7.1 with three additional stereo speaker outputs. The SMC 7.1 then offers connections and full control for up to four stereo speaker sets (Full Range, Mid- and Nearfield plus e.g. a single mono speaker) and a 7.1 speaker array.

Phonitor 2

The Phonitor 2 can be expanded with three passively switched loudspeaker outputs. Combined with the comprehensive controller functions of the Phonitor 2 (L/R phase reverse, L/R Solo, Mono, Mute) makes it the perfect analog 120V monitor controller. Used reversely as 4 in 1 switch the Expansion Rack can also act as an inout switcher for four analog stereo inputs (Note that the XLR genders need to be reversed too).

1x4 Switch

The Expansion Rack's features a 1x4 Switch to route its stereo input to four stereo outputs. Switching is done passive meaning that no power supply required or active electronics are in the signal path.
