Thunderbolt 3 and USB audio interface with 12 discrete preamps, dual-host streaming, room acoustic correction, and real-time Synergy Core effects.
The Antelope Audio Orion Studio Synergy Core is one of the most comprehensive professional audio interfaces in its class, designed to serve as the operational hub of any modern recording studio. With Thunderbolt™ 3 and USB connectivity, world-class AD/DA conversion, 12 discrete preamps, and the powerful Synergy Core platform, it offers everything you need for professional recording, mixing, mastering, and monitoring.
At the heart of the Orion Studio Synergy Core is high-end AD/DA conversion, capable of delivering up to 130 dB of dynamic range on the monitor outputs. Proprietary fourth-generation 64-bit AFC™ (Acoustically Focused Clocking) technology ensures an extremely precise stereo image, greater depth, and ideal sound fidelity for professional productions up to 24-bit / 192 kHz.
The twelve discrete microphone preamps offer up to 75 dB of gain, ensuring ample headroom and extremely low background noise even with dynamic or ribbon microphones. Direct In mode also allows you to completely bypass the preamp circuitry, sending line signals directly to the converters for maximum transparency when using external gear.
The proprietary Synergy Core platform integrates 2 FPGAs and 6 dedicated DSPs, allowing for up to 144 simultaneous mono effects with virtually zero latency. The 51 included processors feature vintage compressors, equalizers, reverbs, preamps, and guitar amps and cabinets modeled after the most famous analog hardware.
One of the most innovative features of the Orion Studio Synergy Core is Dual Host Streaming, which allows you to connect two computers simultaneously via Thunderbolt™ and USB. This technology enables advanced workflows for streaming, redundant recording, collaboration across multiple systems, and maximum reliability during critical sessions.
The integrated room analysis and calibration system measures the room’s response and generates compensation curves applied directly to the hardware. All processing is performed internally, without consuming CPU resources and maintaining virtually zero latency, significantly improving the reliability of mixing decisions.
With its 30 inputs and 42 outputs, the Orion Studio Synergy Core integrates easily into any professional studio. Microphone, line, and Hi-Z inputs are available, along with ADAT, S/PDIF, and Word Clock connections, as well as monitor, headphone, and ReAmp outputs, and DB25 connections to handle complex setups with external hardware.
The control software includes a powerful digital patch bay and four zero-latency mixers that allow you to create custom routings, independent headphone mixes, multi-monitor configurations, and full integration with analog outboard gear and professional digital systems.
