A collaboration between Chandler Limited and Abbey Road Studios, the REDD Microphone represents the first EMI-branded microphone in over half a century. Designed by Wade Goeke, it fuses the historic REDD.47 tube circuit with a handcrafted capsule in a single body, offering uncompromising audio performance.

The REDD Microphone is a tube condenser microphone with a wide diaphragm, combining microphone and preamp into a single professional device. The close proximity between the capsule and the amplifier circuit minimizes signal loss, ensuring a powerful and detailed sound output with a velvety high range and three-dimensional presence.

From the microphone body you can select gain, DRIVE mode, polar patterns, pads and phase inversion. From the external PSU, built with high-quality components, output and low-contour controls are accessed. The REDD Microphone comes with all the accessories needed for professional sessions.
