Herbs and Stones Arms is a two-voice digital percussion module designed for Eurorack systems, capable of generating a wide range of rhythmic and percussive sounds. Based on a combination of FM synthesis and ring modulation, it offers a creative and flexible approach to electronic drum synthesis.

Eurorack Advanced Digital Percussion Synthesis.

The module integrates two identical voices, each designed to create sounds ranging from metallic hi-hats to aggressive snares to low-frequency toms. The combination of frequency modulation (FM) and ring modulation allows for complex, dynamic and character-rich timbres.

Comprehensive, performance-oriented CV control

Each voice has dedicated CV controls for key parameters, allowing precise, performance-oriented modulation. The inputs accept signals from 0 to 5V and are protected against overvoltage, ensuring reliability even in complex modular configurations.

Control parameters for percussive sound design

Length adjusts the duration of the percussive sound, while Mod Range and Mod Decay control the intensity and duration of FM modulation, respectively. The Rm Freq parameter defines the frequency of the ring modulation oscillator, opening up extremely versatile timbral possibilities.

Independent triggers for each voice

The two voices can be triggered separately via dedicated trigger inputs (Trig A and Trig B), making Arms ideal for complex rhythmic patterns and articulated modular sequences.
