The tweeter's characteristic finned edge is known as D-Fins and offers great sonic benefits by widening the stereo sweet spot. The result is excellent off-axis response. D-Fins also eliminate the effects of diffraction due to the cabinet edges, ensuring that high-frequency sound is always crisp and smear-free. You can change the listening position while working without adversely affecting listening because the frequency response remains flat and natural.
