Strymon SuperKar+ - Karplus-Strong physical synthesis to a new level

The Strymon SuperKar+ is an intuitive and surprisingly powerful Karplus-Strong synthesis Eurorack module. Perfect for simulating plucked strings, strings, flutes, percussion, and complex textures, it delivers an organic, musical sound experience that is sensitive to every envelope and filtering variation.

Two instruments in one: solo sounds and intelligent chords

SuperKar+ is divided into two voices: Solo and Chord. Both are polyphonic (up to 16 notes) and independently controllable via CV. The Solo Voice is also controllable via MIDI, with velocity sensitivity, enabling rich and articulate performances.

Self-contained module with built-in mixer

Includes separate envelopes for attack, decay and damping for each voice, an internal mixer with independent level controls, and audio outputs configurable in stereo, mono or split. Requires no external VCAs or auxiliary envelopes.

High-level performance and sound

Thanks to the 520MHz ARM Superscalar processor and 32-bit conversion, the SuperKar+ ensures fast response, wide dynamic range, and consistently detailed timbres. It is a powerful and inspiring musical instrument, suitable for complex patches or expressive live performances.
