The TipTop Audio Buchla Model 258T Dual Oscillator is a Eurorack module that brings the iconic Buchla sound to your modular system. Featuring two independent oscillators, it offers a wide range of timbral possibilities, from sine wave purity to richer, more complex waveforms. This used version has been tested to ensure its perfect operation.

Main controls and functions

Processing Control

Allows you to scale, invert or expand pitch without the need for external processors. Adjusts the input voltage range to achieve CV expansion, compression and inversion effects.

Frequency Modulation Control

Manages vibrato depth or creates metallic, bell-like timbres rich with non-fundamental harmonics.

1V/Oct Input

Control input for 1V/Oct note tracking, ensuring accuracy and stability.

Waveshape Control

Varies waveforms: sine to sawtooth (OSC 1) and sine to square (OSC 2). Voltage control of the waveform allows unlimited timbral expressiveness.

Oscillator Frequency

Covers the entire audio spectrum from 5 Hz to 20 kHz, without range switching, while maintaining waveform stability and purity.

Quality construction and adjustments

Each oscillator has factory trimmers for tracking, sine wave purity and waveform modulation response. From version V1.2, trimmers for waveshape amplitude adjustment are included.
