u-he Colour Copy is a delay plug-in inspired by classic BBD analog effects, but enhanced by modern features and deep sonic flexibility. Born as a "Lyrebird" module in Repro-1, it has evolved into a full FX capable of delivering warm, deep and creatively modulable delays.

Complete control over timbre

With continuous morphing between five "color" modes, you can explore timbres ranging from soft, dark echoes to bright, resonant delays, with dedicated controls for Brightness and Saturation.

Complex and dynamic modulations

A modulable stereo LFO and envelope follower allow you to create evolutionary effects such as chorus, vibrato, tremolo and flanger. Modulation depth is adjustable, for detailed sound design.

Intelligent ducking and flexible routing

Dynamic ducking can act on the entire signal or just the feedback, maintaining clarity in the mix. Routing allows mono/stereo combinations, phase inversion and advanced ping-pong.

Creative performance tool

With the Freeze button you can freeze the contents of the buffer and manipulate it live. MIDI control allows you to "play" the delay as its own instrument, with unique pitch-based behaviors.
