Stereo multi-effects unit with 24 DSP algorithms and a bitcrusher - Used
Erica Synths Black Hole DSP2 (Used) is a used Eurorack stereo multi-effects processor that features 24 DSP algorithms developed in collaboration with KODEK and Gary Worsham, creator of SpinCAD. Designed for musicians and sound designers looking to expand their sonic palette, it offers high-quality effects that integrate seamlessly into the world of modular synthesis thanks to CV control of key parameters.
Black Hole DSP2 provides 24 stereo effects optimized for modular synthesizers, including reverbs, delays, chorus, flanger, phaser, pitch shifting, distortion, bitcrusher, and numerous experimental effects. Each algorithm features three dedicated parameters that can be controlled either manually or via CV, allowing for continuous sound evolution.
In addition to the three main parameters, effects can be selected directly via CV, transforming the Black Hole DSP2 into an extremely dynamic processor during live performances or complex patches. Each configuration can be saved to internal memory and recalled instantly along with the selected effect.
One of the module’s distinctive features is the manual and CV control of the DSP processor’s clock frequency. By reducing the sample rate from 48 kHz, you can achieve Lo-Fi textures, bitcrusher effects, and digital distortions perfect for experimental electronic music and creative sound design.
The fully analog Dry/Wet control allows you to precisely blend the original and processed signals, while the clipping LED makes it easy to monitor the input level. Thanks to its stereo inputs and outputs, the Black Hole DSP2 integrates seamlessly into any Eurorack system dedicated to production, live performance, and sound experimentation.
