The PMC 12 represents a significant step up from the PMC 10 in terms of scale, dynamics, low frequency extension and maximum SPL. It is designed for the most demanding professional environments such as high-end recording, mixing and mastering studios, broadcast, television and film post-production, where precision, power and dynamic range are essential.

At the heart of the system is the latest generation of PMC's Advanced Transmission Line (ATL) enclosure, optimized with LaminairX™ venting to deliver uncompromised low frequency extension, absolute control and maximum efficiency.

High-grade components for consistent and detailed sound

Each monitor integrates a handmade 34mm soft-dome tweeter, a PMC75v3 midrange driver, and an in-house developed 12" woofer. All are coupled with the n-compass™ waveguide to ensure precise dispersion, tonal coherence, and seamless integration between the pathways.

PMC master36 DSP amplification: power and control

The system is powered by the PMC master36 rack-mount platform, providing 800W each to the tweeters and midrange, and as much as 1000W to the woofer, for a total power output of 2600W per speaker. The advanced DSP offers optimized crossovers, transparent protections and comprehensive room EQ.

Stereo or immersive monitor, even in XBD configuration

The PMC12 is well suited to both stereo and immersive configurations and can be scaled up to a dual-cabinet XBD version for increased headroom and low-end impact.
