The Koma Elektronik Field Kit FX (Module Version) brings all the power and versatility of Koma's celebrated CV-controlled multi-effects processor to the Eurorack format. Designed for experimental musicians, sound designers and performers, this module is a semi-modular sound laboratory that integrates seven independent signal processing blocks that can be combined into endless creative configurations.

Seven functional blocks for total sound control

The FX Field Kit includes a suite of effects and control generators designed for manipulating audio and CV signals:

• Looper - records up to 3 seconds of audio with unlimited overdubbing, bitcrushing and sample rate modulations via CV.
• Frequency Shifter - shifts all signal frequencies creating deep phasing, metallic harmonics or Stockhausen-style dissonances.
• Sample Rate Reducer / Bitcrusher - reduces resolution and destroys the signal for digital textures and glitches.
• Digital Delay - delay with analog character, feedback and time controllable via CV, perfect for creative layering and feedback.
• Spring Reverb - analog reverb circuit for external tanks (RCA connection), with CV-controllable filters and feedback.
• 4 Channel VCA Mixer - mixer with VCAs, gain and low/high pass filter on each channel.
• Roll-O-Decks - 4-step sequencer and built-in ADSR generator for automations and dynamic modulations.

Intelligent and flexible CV routing

The module integrates a CV Interface with 4 inputs and 11 destinations, allowing quick and visually intuitive routing with colored LEDs and buttons. Each source can be assigned to multiple parameters simultaneously, offering total modular control over signal flow and effect interactions.

Spring Reverb and physical experimentation

The Spring Reverb can be connected to an external tank of any size, ideal for creating natural reverbs and physical manipulations of sound. It includes a selectable resonant filter (Low Pass or Band Pass) and cutoff and feedback controls via CV to sculpt the reverb response in real time.

Open creativity and total compatibility

Designed for seamless integration with any modular system, the Field Kit FX (Module Version) is powered via 10-pin Eurorack connector and occupies 36HP of rack space. All effects and controls respond to standard CV signals, making it ideal as a central processor in hybrid or modular set-ups.

Open source software

Koma Elektronik provides open source code for the DSP engine and user interface, allowing users to modify or create new processing algorithms. The code is commented and accessible even to non-expert programmers, encouraging collective sharing and experimentation.
