Maag Audio EQ4M: musical and precise mastering equalization

The EQ4M is Maag Audio's reference equalizer, derived from the legendary NTI EQ3. In 1U stereo format, it offers 6 bands per channel, including the famous Air Band® for natural brilliance. Internal high-current power supply (+/-18V) ensures a flat response from 10 Hz to 75 kHz and up to +29 dBu headroom, ideal for professional mastering environments.

Detailed tonal control and excellent build quality

Each channel has 4 fixed bell-shaped EQ bands (10 Hz, 40 Hz, 160 Hz, 650 Hz), a 2.5 kHz shelving band and Air Band® selectable between 2.5, 5, 10, 15, 20 and 40 kHz. All bands have a range of +15 / -4.5 dB with detented steps. The Air Band has its own bypass switch, and each channel has a full hardware bypass.

Signal management and visual feedback

The EQ4M has input attenuator (0 to -10 dB), green LED for signal present (-20 dBu) and red LED for peak (+23 dBu). The high precision of the controls and the transparency of the circuitry make it an ideal tool for music EQ choices in critical environments.
