MultiWAVE: the heart of the New Universal Synthesizer System

The Make Noise MultiWAVE is a powerful Eurorack module designed to expand the New Universal Synthesizer System (N.U.S.S.). It is an 8-channel dual wavetable oscillator capable of generating complex waveforms from a single control panel, which can be perfectly synchronized with PoliMATHS and QXG to create a complete modular polysynth.

Advanced architecture for polyphonic synthesis

Each channel integrates two independent oscillators, Osc A and Osc B, each with controllable frequency, modulation and wavetable position. The system allows A and B to be sequenced independently or jointly thanks to 4 Follow modes. Polyphonic activations can be achieved from monophonic sequences using Spread, Span, Accumulate and Modulation Dissemination.

MultiWAVE allows variable timbres per channel using Spread and Modulation Dissemination. Each oscillator has dedicated V/Oct inputs plus a global input for transposition, supporting complex and dynamic configurations.

Quantization and Polyphonic Glide

With modulated Quantization and Glide for each channel, you can create rich, organic melodies with harmonic coherence. MultiWAVE can also behave as a harmonic oscillator with the Detune parameter set to maximum.

Built-in MultiMod LFO

The internal MultiMod LFO allows you to modulate wavetables, with adjustable shape and depth of modulation for each voice. In addition, smooth interpolation between waveforms ensures refined and natural sound transitions.

Advanced triggering features

MultiWAVE allows channel triggering in several modes: arbitrary indexing (Channel Index), sequential scanning with variable steps (Round), or with clock divisions per channel (Parallel). Up to 8 banks of 8 custom wavetables developed with Make Noise technology can be saved.
