Instruō cuïr is a final output module designed to interface your modular system with professional audio equipment outside the modular ecosystem. Modular level signals have very high amplitude and are often too "hot" for mixers, audio interfaces and pedals: cuïr solves the problem by attenuating and converting the signal to a balanced line level ready for the next stage in the chain.
cuïr attenuates and converts unbalanced modular level signals to balanced line level outputs on 1/4" jacks. This makes it easy to connect the rack to a studio mixer, audio interface or outboard chain while maintaining a cleaner, more manageable signal in terms of headroom.
In addition to level conversion, cuïr integrates a high-quality headphone amplifier, perfect for direct listening and monitoring. Individual attenuation controls allow precise level management, while normalization of mono left input to right simplifies use in mono contexts without additional patching.
The stereo backjack input allows you to interface neatly with other compatible "backjack" sources. Included in the package are 2 high-quality 150 cm balanced cables, ready to connect your system to the outside world right away.
