This updated version retains the original analog core while adding new features and sonic options that make it the most versatile instrument ever made by Solid State Logic.

Advanced sound coloration and versatility

With LOW THD, F/B, and 4K modes, you can choose the character that best suits your mix: clean and precise, relaxed and musical, or gritty and saturated. The possibilities multiply with MIX control for parallel compression and the introduction of negative ratios for creative effects.

LOW THD Mode.

Perfect for reducing distortion on low frequencies, this mode offers clean compression even with fast releases.

F/B Mode (Feed-Back)

Retrieves a softer compression behavior, inspired by the classic SSL 4000, ideal for less aggressive intervention.

4K Mode

Introduces adjustable harmonic distortion for a rich, "dirty" tone, perfect for adding character to the mix.

D-EQ: Analog Dynamic Equalizer

D-EQ is SSL's first signature analog dynamic equalizer, with two configurable bands, selectable expansion or compression, and 16 frequencies per band. Positionable before or after the compressor, it offers surgical control over the dynamic response of the mix.
