The DPA 4071 CORE+ Film Microphone Kit is designed for film and TV productions where the microphone must remain invisible, but the voice output must always be clear, present and natural. The kit combines an award-winning miniature microphone with the right accessories for concealment, so you immediately have everything you need to deal with dialogue, dynamic scenes, and quick costume changes on set.

CORE+ technology substantially improves the performance of miniature microphones, reducing distortion even on peaks while maintaining transparency, detail, and definition. Bottom line: less "harshness" when the actor raises his or her voice and more intelligibility even under difficult conditions.

Presence Boost and speech clarity in video productions

The included microphone is an omnidirectional 4071 "Presence Boost," optimized for speech: pre-equalization puts the voice forward and improves intelligibility, making it an ideal choice for live dialogue, interviews, and filming in complex environments.

Integrated low-cut for less rumble and more headroom

In close-miking on body, frequencies below 100 Hz are rarely useful, so the 4071 integrates an acoustic low-cut into the capsule. The advantage is twofold: more headroom for the preamp (and for wireless systems) and attenuation of distant rumble (traffic, trains, planes), with "cleaner" dialogue already at the source.

MicroLock®: secure connection and more reliable workflow

The kit is available with MicroLock®, a connector with a mechanical locking system that reduces the risk of accidental disconnection during filming. It offers a stable and repeatable connection while maintaining high compatibility with many existing wiring harnesses and adapters.

Accessories for concealment and clothing noise control
