Neumann KH 150 W is a professional-grade bi-amplified nearfield studio monitor designed to deliver extremely linear, detailed and reliable reproduction. The white finish makes it perfect for studios, directors, and creative environments where aesthetics and integration matter, without sacrificing the reference-grade performance that has made the KH series a standard in monitoring.
The 6.5" woofer in a bass reflex cabinet provides bass extension down to 39 Hz (±3 dB) and high SPL capability, maintaining clarity and control even at sustained listening levels. The frequency response (39 Hz - 21 kHz) and attention to phase coherence result in crisp mids and very accurate rendering of transients, pulses and reverberations, useful for quick decisions on EQ, compression and balancing.
DSP-controlled electronics allow the use of advanced crossovers while avoiding the compromises of analog filters, improving coherence and mix reading. Mathematically Modelled Dispersion™ (MMD™) waveguide widens the ideal listening area and helps minimize floor reflections, providing a stable and accurate stereo image.
The built-in DSP enables alignment of the monitor to the room using Neumann Automatic Monitor Alignment (optional MA 1 calibration microphone) to optimize the response at the listening point. There is also a switch for manual room correction, useful for quick adjustments based on positioning and acoustics.
The amplification combines high performance and energy efficiency (Class D), with low standby power consumption and an auto-standby function (can be turned off). Timbral consistency with other KH monitors allows the KH 150 W to be included in multi-channel, surround or immersive setups. For connectivity, find XLR analog and S/PDIF coaxial digital input.
