Koma Elektronik FM Radius 1U: transmissions, noise and creative chaos

The Koma Elektronik FM Radius 1U is a CV-controlled FM radio receiver designed for direct integration into Eurorack systems (Intellijel 1U format). It allows you to receive and manipulate FM radio transmissions in real time, opening a window to the world of the sonic unexpected. Use it as an unpredictable oscillator, a source of infinite samples, or simply to listen to the radio between patches.

CV control and modular tuning

Thanks to its CV-tunable architecture, the FM Radius allows you to explore the radio spectrum like a true modulation tool: use an LFO, sequencer, or random voltage to fluidly switch between stations, generating organic and unpredictable sound patterns. Experiment with the saturation, noise, and natural compression of the FM signal to create unique textures and atmospheres.

Signal reception and quality

The module receives the strongest radio signals even without an external antenna, but an additional antenna is recommended for optimal reception. It can be used both as a source of noise and modulation and as a performative component to integrate random content or real-time voices into your patches.
