The Audio-Technica BP28 is a shotgun microphone that combines a large-diaphragm condenser capsule with an interference tube design to achieve a very narrow polar pattern with extremely low self-noise. Measuring 354.9 mm in length, it is designed for broadcast, film and television productions, outdoor recordings, and theater, and is particularly well-suited for long-distance live sound capture. Its transformer-coupled output gives it a smooth and natural sound character.
