DPA 5006-11A: Microphone Kit for Surround and Decca Tree

The DPA 5006-11A is a complete surround microphone kit combining three omnidirectional microphones 4006A and two cardioid microphones 4011A. Each microphone is selected and matched at the factory to ensure sound uniformity: ±0.5 dB tolerance on the 4006A and ±1 dB on the 4011A. This combination ensures tonal consistency and maximum accuracy in multichannel recordings.

Maximum Sound Quality with DPA Pencil Microphones.

The 4006A offers a linear response from 10 Hz to 20 kHz with an open, natural sound, perfect for complex acoustic environments. The 4011A, a pressure gradient cardioid, provides precise localization while maintaining warmth of sound. Together, they provide an ideal dynamic range for stereo techniques, Decca Tree or immersive configurations.

S5 Support: Versatility and Discretion

The included S5 Surround/Decca Tree stand is modular, lightweight and designed to accommodate many miking configurations. The sleek, non-reflective design makes it perfect for live environments and recording studios.
