Eventide Rotary Mod is a rotary modulation plug-in designed to recreate the famous Leslie effect made iconic by Hammond organs and used in countless rock, psychedelic and soul productions. The plug-in offers the classic swirling, three-dimensional motion typical of vintage rotary cabinets, while adding modern controls for highly detailed customization.

Rotary Mod allows you to radically transform the sound of guitars, basses, synthesizers, and vocals by realistically simulating the rotation of the rotor and trumpet (horn). You can independently adjust the speed of the two elements and mix them to achieve pulsing vibrato, spacey chorus, and rich vintage modulations.

Advanced rotary modulation control

For even more creative sound modeling, Eventide Rotary Mod incorporates a secondary LFO modulation that can be assigned to either the rotor or the horn. This allows you to create dynamic variations, rhythmic oscillations and psychedelic textures perfect for modern productions and experimental sound design.

Selectable vintage cabinets and Hicut control

The plug-in includes two different cabinet sizes, Standard and Giant, which profoundly alter the timbral response and depth of the effect. The Hicut control also allows you to sculpt the high frequencies for softer, vintage or aggressive sounds depending on the mix.

Tap Tempo and Ribbon Controller for Live Performance

Thanks to the built-in Tap Tempo, you can perfectly synchronize the speed of the spin to the BPM of the project. The famous Eventide Ribbon Controller, on the other hand, allows you to change multiple parameters simultaneously in real time, ideal for dynamic automations, live performances and creative transitions.

Eventide Rotary Mod is compatible with macOS 10.14 or higher, including Apple Silicon systems, and Windows 10+. It supports major professional VST2, VST3, AU and AAX plug-in formats to easily integrate into any audio production setup.
