Relab Color Drive: real-time tube saturation with hardware-like behavior

Color Drive is not a simple emulation, but a real analog circuit "solved" in real time. Each parameter affects the entire system, as it does with real hardware: harmonics, transients and dynamics react interactively and musically.

Controlled saturation and musical harmonics

From subtle warmth to analog crunch

The Drive control pushes an accurate 6BC8 tube model, generating rich harmonics and rounding out transients in a natural way. Activating the output transformer completes the analog chain, with an emphasis on odd harmonics that lend solidity, focus, and punch to the mix.

Adjustable tube bias and harmonic shaping

The Calibration control changes the valve bias point, allowing even harmonics to be mixed for warmth and depth. Tilt, shelving and crossover filters allow you to precisely define which frequencies drive saturation, maintaining clarity in the lows and definition in the highs.
