Soma Laboratory BREAKOUT BOX: CV and MIDI versatility in a compact module

The Soma Laboratory BREAKOUT BOX is an extremely flexible MIDI/CV interface module designed to offer maximum control in both standalone and Eurorack setups. With its dual operating modes, it is the ideal tool for expanding the capabilities of the FLUX controller or for converting MIDI signals to CV in DAW environments.

Advanced integration with Soma FLUX

By connecting the BREAKOUT BOX to the FLUX controller, you can access all of its CV and MIDI outputs, including pitch, velocity (mono or duo), six bipolar CV outputs based on the timbral keyboard (in independent sensor modes or 3D XYZ coordinates), and a Tilt output. This enables expressive, three-dimensional management of control signals.

Universal MIDI-to-CV Converter

MIDI-to-CV mode allows the BREAKOUT BOX to be used with any MIDI-compatible DAW, sequencer or hardware, including support for MPE and MIDI CC. CV outputs can be freely assigned via software on a PC and saved in the module's internal memory.

Portable design and Eurorack compatibility

Housed in a rugged metal chassis, the BREAKOUT BOX can be used as a desktop module or mounted in a Eurorack 6HP system. Power is supplied exclusively via USB-C, eliminating the need for internal power bus connections.
