Analog processor for stereo mixing and mastering

  • A complete analog mixing and mastering chain housed in a single stereo processor
  • Passive EQ, bus compressor, saturation, clipper, and width processor in a single signal path
  • Each section can be individually enabled, disabled, or bypassed
  • Instant EQ → COMP or COMP → EQ routing for two different sonic approaches
  • Full digital recall of analog parameters, directly from the DAW session
  • A/B/C comparison, easy-to-read LCD display, and DAW plugin integration
  • Input and output inserts for integrating additional analog outboard gear

WesAudio ngOmniBox is a stereo analog processor for mixing and mastering that encapsulates in a single tool the entire workflow that sound engineers and mastering engineers have built over decades by combining EQ, compression, saturation, clipping, and stereo imaging. Based on an extremely flexible stereo signal path, the ngOmniBox combines the sound and response of analog processing with the speed and precision of a modern DAW environment, featuring full digital control and complete parameter recall.

Flexible Architecture: Passive EQ, Bus Compressor, and Saturation

ngOmniBox features a fully analog passive EQ, designed for broad, musical, and natural tonal adjustments, ideal for defining the overall balance of a mix without compromising its musicality. The analog stereo bus compressor enhances the cohesion of the mix bus, controls dynamics, and defines the character of the production during final mixing. The order of the EQ and compressor can be reversed at any time: EQ → COMP to shape the tone before compression, or COMP → EQ to adjust the tone after dynamic control.

Saturation and Clipper for Harmonic Density and Loudness

The dedicated saturation section adds density and harmonic character independently of EQ or compression settings, with fully adjustable control to precisely dial in the desired intensity. The dedicated analog clipper acts on signal peaks, increasing perceived loudness and shaping the transient response in the final stage of processing. Each block features a fully independent bypass.

Width processor and professional input/output management

The Width section allows you to precisely adjust the stereo image and define the perceived width of the mix, while maintaining full control over the spatial balance. The Input section offers fully controllable stereo level, a built-in high-pass filter, dedicated metering, and an insert for integrating external analog processors at the beginning of the chain. The Output section manages the final level with dedicated metering, an insert in Stereo or Mid/Side mode, and precise gain staging after the entire processing chain.

Full Digital Recall and DAW Integration

The WesAudio ngOmniBox combines a truly analog signal path with a comprehensive digital management system: all analog parameters can be saved, recalled, and automated directly from the DAW session. A/B/C comparison allows you to quickly evaluate different settings, while the integrated LCD display accurately shows parameter values, enabling full hardware control without compromising the analog signal path.
