The DPA 6061 CORE Omni Sub mini Mic is an omnidirectional subminiature lavalier microphone designed for professional broadcast, film, theater and video production applications. Using CORE by DPA technology, this microphone delivers exceptional sound quality with extremely low distortion levels, even under the most demanding conditions.

The 6060/6061 CORE series integrates DPA's CORE technology into a capsule of only 3 mm. This achieves audio performance comparable to miniaturized 5 mm capsules, while maintaining extremely small dimensions ideal for applications where the microphone must remain invisible.

The result is extremely natural and detailed voice reproduction with enhanced clarity and sound openness from whispering to the highest sound pressure levels.

High-precision omnidirectional capsule

The extremely accurate omnidirectional pattern enables natural voice capture without requiring precise orientation toward the sound source. This makes the DPA 6061 ideal for interviews, film productions, television broadcasting and theatrical applications.

The microphone can handle sound pressures up to 134 dB SPL while maintaining extremely low distortion and a typical dynamic range of 102 dB.

Rugged construction and IP58 certification

Despite its small size, the DPA 6061 is designed for high reliability even in harsh conditions. The microphone is made of stainless steel with PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coating, which provides high resistance to shock, abrasion and high temperatures.

IP58 certification provides advanced protection against dust, sweat and moisture through various protection technologies:

• Water-repellent nano-coating of the capsule
• Hermetic sealing of the internal electronics
• Double gold plating of the diaphragm

Reinforced cable and professional reliability

The 1.6 mm cable uses a Kevlar-core reinforced structure that makes it extremely resistant to twisting, bending and stresses typical of professional productions. A strain relief system built into the microphone housing further enhances reliability during daily use.

Accessories and professional lavalier clips

For use as a lavalier microphone, a special 360° swivel clip is available that allows mounting in eight different positions in 45° increments. This facilitates placement on shirts, jackets or t-shirts regardless of the direction of buttoning.

The microphone is compatible with many professional wireless systems via DPA adapters and is available with several connectors including MicroLock, TA4F Mini-XLR, LEMO and Mini-Jack.
