Designed by Vlad Kreimer, PULSAR-23 is a semi-modular analog drum machine that redefines rhythm synthesis. With 23 independent modules and an organismic architecture, it is designed to generate not only percussive patterns, but also basses, melodic lines, soundscapes and novel effects.
PULSAR-23 offers a unique hybrid workflow: you can use it stand-alone, via MIDI or with CV-even simultaneously. In addition, you can harness the human body as a conductor for patching and live "circuit bending" modulations.
4 dedicated channels (kick drum, snare drum, hi-hat, percussion) with sustain envelopes that turn them into drone/noise generators. Each channel has its own individual loop recorder with optional quantization.
Clock generator with divider array, variable LFO 0.1-5000Hz, and Shaos: pseudo-random generator with 4 independent outputs. FX DSP with sample rate control via CV, plus analog distortion, VCAs, inverters and attenuators.
With over 100 ports between inputs and outputs, PULSAR-23 is ideal for integration into Eurorack setups. It includes assignable attenuators, dynamic CV sensors and supports both mini-jack and 1/4" jacks.
PULSAR-23 comes in a handcrafted bag with power supply, 30 clip-on cables of different lengths and colors.
