The WesAudio _PROMETHEUS is an all-analog passive equalizer designed to offer the classic musical character of Pultec-style inductor EQs with the advanced capabilities of modern digital workflows. With digital control and recall function via DAW plug-ins, the device combines the sound quality of analog hardware with the operational flexibility of contemporary studios.

With up to +24 dBu analog headroom, PROMETHEUS ensures high dynamics and flawless signal handling even in professional mixing and mastering contexts.

Passive analog equalization with inductors

At the heart of the WesAudio _PROMETHEUS is a passive equalization section based on analog inductors. This classic design is known for its extremely musical and natural response, capable of shaping sound without introducing harshness or digital artifacts.

The result is an equalizer ideal for adding depth, openness and character to the mix while maintaining maximum sonic transparency at all times.

Stereo, Dual Mono and Mid-Side Operating Modes.

PROMETHEUS offers three operating modes that make it extremely versatile in the studio:

• Stereo - perfect for processing the stereo bus or final mix
• Dual Mono - two independent channels for processing separate tracks
• Mid-Side - independent control of the center and side components of the mix

Mid-Side mode allows you to intervene with great precision on the stereo image, improving depth and spatiality of the mix.

Pultec-style musical equalization

The equalization circuit offers dedicated low and high frequency controls designed to shape the sound naturally and musically.

THD control for analog saturation

The proprietary THD (Total Harmonic Distortion) circuit allows you to add controlled harmonic saturation to the signal. This feature introduces musical harmonics that enrich the mix with greater depth, presence and analog character.

Digital Recall and DAW Integration

The WesAudio _PROMETHEUS integrates a digital control system that allows full management of the device via DAW plug-ins. All parameters can be saved and recalled automatically thanks to the Total Recall function.
