Erica Synths Black Stereo Delay2 is a high-fidelity stereo digital delay module designed for professional Eurorack systems. Based on a proprietary Erica Synths DSP and developed in collaboration with Dutch software house 112dB, it offers Tape, BBD and Digital emulations with superior sound quality and great spatial depth.
The module integrates three distinct algorithms: Tape Delay for warm and vintage sounds, BBD Delay for granular analog character, and Digital Delay for clean and precise repeats. Each mode has dedicated controls for Delay Time (3-3000ms), Feedback, Tone and Stereo Spread, enabling the creation of highly detailed sound environments.
The Stereo Spread control allows you to expand the sound image, while Tone allows you to shape the frequency response of repeats. With CV control in the -5V/+5V range, the Black Stereo Delay2 integrates seamlessly into complex modular patches and live performances.
Up to 10 presets can be saved, making the module ideal for live sets and performance setups. The system operates at 48kHz / 24bit with a dynamic range of -108dB and THD+N of -98dB, ensuring transparency and accuracy even in modular mastering contexts.
Like all Erica Synths Black Series modules, the Black Stereo Delay2 uses high-quality components and inputs/outputs protected against unwanted surges. At 12HP wide and 35mm deep, it is compatible with most standard Eurorack cases.
