Maximum loudness, without sacrificing sound

L4 brings loudness to the levels required by streaming platforms while maintaining punch and musicality. It features 5 selectable limiting algorithms, upward compression, adaptive clipping and release control, oversampling, LUFS meter and True Peak.

Every track is different. L4 lets you choose from 5 approaches to limiting: Modern for balanced loudness, Aggressive for maximum impact, Smooth for more musical content, Safe for controlled results, and the classic L2 for those who like the Waves tradition.

Advanced dynamic control

The upward compression module (inspired by the famous MV2) allows you to emphasize the lower parts of the mix, restoring density and presence. Combined with the True Peak limiter, the result is a sound that is loud but respectful of the original dynamics.

Performance and usability

L4 is optimized for ultra-low latency: it can be used in tracking, mixing, mastering and even live via LV1, SuperRack or Ableton Live. Includes dual GUI (graphic and classic modes) and Gain Match for instant comparison of processed signal.
