Erica Synths Bass Drum2 - Analog Speaker 909 for Eurorack

The Erica Synths Bass Drum2 module, developed in collaboration with French e-licktronic, is a modern reinterpretation of classic 909-style analog bass drum circuits, optimized for Eurorack modular systems. It delivers a powerful, deep and punchy sound, perfect for techno, electro and contemporary electronic productions.

With Accent control and CV management of key parameters, the module ensures high expressiveness in both studio and live performance.

Trigger and Gate modes for dynamic patterns

The real evolution from previous versions is the introduction of the Trigger/Gate mode. In Gate mode, the Bass Drum2 reacts to sustained signals, allowing you to create sustained and unconventional kick drum sounds.

By modulating the length of the Gate (e.g., by sending the Gate output of the sequencer to the Trigger input with varying lengths), innovative rhythmic patterns and bass drums with unique character can be designed.

Total sound control

The sound modeling section includes dedicated controls for:

• Pitch, Tune and Tune Depth to define pitch and timbral character
• Attack and Decay to shape dynamic response
• Drive to add saturation and aggression

CV controls with attenuators on Pitch, Decay and Drive allow full modular system integration and advanced automations.
